Being married to a hair stylist and having 3 teenagers in the house means we need some very high quality electric trimmers to keep our hair in line. I have bought many different consumer and professional hair trimmers over the past 30 years, so I know quality when I see it. Fortunately, these Suprapent Hair Clippers did not disappoint. Right out of the box, you could feel and see the high quality components to this trimmer kit - the two trimmers feel every bit professional quality in the hand, and the blades and motors on both made quick work of the three boys' trims. The motor is strong but much quieter than the Wahl pro unit that my wife used to use - and the rechargeable battery with 5 hour life is a huge improvement over the corded models. Lastly, the kit comes with a great variety of guard sizes to choose from, with blade lubricant, and even includes a really nice, stylish cape do it all in style.

I've used the clipper set 8 times since they've arrived on the 6th, it is now the 21st. The battery is at 74 percent. Every time I used them, it's clippers on my head and trimmers for beard. I have not used razors since the 6th of February 2023. I used to shave every day for years with a razor and follow it with bump patrol even. I have over 30 years of experience with different razors, clippers and trimmers, trying to find the perfect one so I could save money on razors. This set is still by far the best I've used. For the clippers, I had to re-gap them to zero, it was my fault. I was slightly off, and the clipper cut a nice short line in my head. Only a flesh wound. Lesson learned. The clippers are zero gapped straight now and work perfectly. The trimmers are perfect how they are. I use them on the crease of the neck and down and on my face. I maintain a goatee and the trimmers do a great job of lining and cutting the rest of my face close. I oil them after every other use. I use a thicker brush to clean them. I never understood the flimsy brushes most clippers or trimmers come with. I used bump patrol once, when my zero gap was off. I no longer have ingrown hairs. Also, the clippers and trimmers don't get hot, they have stayed cool every time I shave. I hope this helps people trying to accomplish the same thing, ditch expensive razors and have a close shave or near close shave.

I have been cutting my own hair for 25 years now and have owner various clippers. These are head and shoulders above any of the "brand name" clippers, with a LONG battery life (have cut my hair 3 times so far and am only down to 94% battery!). The combs feel solid and won't bend or break like other cheaper ones I have owned - and the smaller trimmer is perfect for cleaning up and grooming afterwards. I was thinking of growing my hair longer after 25 years of a "number 2", but I enjoy using this so much I keep cutting my hair!
