• Start clean. Wash and dry before you trim. Clean hair holds its shape better and gives you a truer read of the length.
• Go longer first. Start with a longer guard setting and work your way down. You can always take more off — you can't put it back.
• Define your lines. The neckline, the cheek line, the edges. These are the frame of the painting. Take your time here.
• Blend, don't cut. The best fades aren't cut — they're blended. Use Float Mode on the SUPRENT fading lever for seamless transitions between lengths.
• Finish with detail. The trimmer handles the fine work — the mustache, the edges, the areas that require surgical precision. This is where the look is completed.
